WE ARE SHEPHERD’S HEART

Shepherd's Heart is a prophetic healing ministry, healing of the soul and mind.  It's a place you will feel the power of the Holy Spirit and where your spiritual gifts will grow. We provide mentorship for women, men, seniors, and families to help them walk closer with Jesus.  Shepherd’s Heart ministry has been successful at teaching people how to surrender to the Lord and walk with a clean heart before Him; Empowering God's people to walk freely in an intimate relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We are committed to building healthy and dynamic communities. Shepherd's Heart is also dedicated to help the community through mentoring, training, and equipping people to live a healthy life.

Monica Venable | Director

At the age of five, Monica Venable recalls having a visitation from the Holy Spirit, where she experienced a deep love for our Heavenly Father.  This childhood encounter fueled her desire to spread the love of Jesus to those who need encouragement through the move of the Holy Spirit. As an Ordained Minister and the Founder and Director of Shepherd’s Heart Ministry, Pastor Monica left the corporate world to pursue full time ministry in 2006.

Pastor Monica has a passion to teach and train all people to live a healthy lifestyle. The Lord has used her as an instrument to help Pastors to set up and organize their churches.  Pastor Monica has trained and encouraged leaders to walk in their calling and destiny, and has enjoyed traveling overseas to spread the gospel to those who were hungry for Jesus.  

In her free time Pastor Monica enjoys traveling, going on adventures, walking on trails, swimming, going to the movies and spending time with family and friends.

Evey Vallacqua | Administrator

One characteristic to describe Pastor Evey is Compassion.  Her passion to serve others was deeply rooted from having loving parents who taught her the importance of service and to remember life’s daily reflective moments. She chooses to see life as a glass being completely full--not half empty. Her heart to serve others led her into the area of hospice care. She feels that it is an honor to assist the dying and their families during this pivotal passage within their lives. 

In her spare time, Pastor Evey enjoys being at the beach, reading, writing, laughing and spending time with her Heavenly Father. She also enjoys spending time with her fun-loving husband and three beautiful grandchildren. As an ordained pastor for Shepherd’s Heart, Pastor Evey assists with both administrative and ministerial duties. She says, “I am so grateful to share this phenomenal role with my sisters in the ministry. Together, we are determined to lead others to walk in victory! By establishing a prayerful lifestyle, daily consecrations and studying the Word of God, our goal within this unique ministry is to exemplify how to humbly walk with divine love, compassion and purpose.”

Janine Mallory | Event Coordinator

Janine is a former Assistant Principal turned homeschooling mom to three of her four sons.  When she’s not teaching, she works part time as a property manager and serves as a home health aide for her parents. As a native of San Jose, Janine speaks fondly of the four years she spent away in college at Tuskegee University in Alabama.  She believes these years were transformative for many reasons, but mainly because she gave her life to Christ during her Freshman year at Tuskegee.  In her spare time, Janine enjoys reading novels, watching movies with her husband, touring new places, and minimalist decorating.

As a member of Shepherd’s Heart, Janine serves on the hospitality and intercessory prayer teams.  She has a heart for the mothers and for empowering children to live full and healthy lives as they discover their true identities in Christ.  She’s been a member of Shepherd’s Heart since 2016.

Angela Alexander | Music Media Coordinator

Angela is a native of California--born and raised in the Bay Area.  She grew up in the church, and has had a lifelong relationship with God.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the theaters, museums and concerts.  She loves going out to eat at her favorite restaurants and trying new ones.  Angela also keeps a collection of magnets from the places she has travelled. Angela says, “I love going to waterfalls to hear the sound of the water, and to see the beauty of the falls.” 

Angela has been a part of Shepherd’s Heart Ministry since 2014.  She serves on the hospitality, music, and intercessory prayer teams.  She looks forward to seeing how God will continue to stretch her through Shepherd’s Heart Ministry.

Deahna Davis | Social Media Developer

Deahna was born and raised in San Jose, California. She has served in Shepherd’s Heart Ministry since 2014. Deahna says, “It has been an honor and privilege to serve as the Worship Leader for Shepherd’s Heart.” She also serves on the prayer team and assists in maintaining the social media for the ministry. She is passionate about ushering the people of God into the Most Holy Place with the One who created them.

Deahna ministers through song in various churches and ministries in the Bay Area. She longs to see people experience God’s deliverance, healing and Heavenly encounters as they connect with the Lord in worship. Deahna desires that the Holy Spirit use her to minister to people; where they feel the presence of God and experience intimacy with Jesus as she prophetically sings what the Lord is speaking over His people.

Deahna enjoys the company of good friends and family, games, music, dancing, traveling and trying new foods.

Maxine Starks | Event Coordinator

Maxine Starks, a Mississippi native, enjoys cooking, painting, going to the spa and spending quality time with friends and family. Maxine felt blessed after going to a Shepherd’s Heart meeting for the first time, saying that she felt “a kingdom embrace” from the godly women of the ministry. Now a member of Shepherd’s Heart, Maxine uses her gifts on the hospitality and intercessory prayer teams. 

Maxine Says, “These wonderful women of God at Shepherd’s Heart have helped me to grow in my prayer life, companionship, laughter, love, joy, and encouragement.  I am blessed and satisfied in Christ Jesus.”
